I can’t believe I have over 200+ followers!  Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day and with so many blogs out there that you follow me!  It means a lot, as many of you know I have only one daughter and she is off to college and this has been a wonder experience to fill the emptiness I feel now that she is gone.  So, before I get to mushy and teary eyed here is my blog giveaway:

This is the front and back of my “Pretty As A Peacock Pocketbook Album”.  On the front cover you could add a photo or your initial or journal, you also, could add a big flower or butterfly.  Here is the inside pages:

Notice the tiny gold butterflies here.

Here is one of the dusty attic peacock laser die cuts.  I also, used Jenni Bowlin banner punch from colorbox metallic papers.

I usually, don’t ask that you be a follower, but I am this time only because I do want my followers who come and visit me and leave such sweet comments to have a chance.  So, all you need to do is leave a comment here and be one of my followers.  I will pick the winner after the Super Bowl game Sunday, Feb. 5th.  I will announce it on Monday’s post the 6th.

Now if you follow Kathryn from Life on the Scrap Beach she is having a super bowl party on her ustream channel on the 5th, where she has prizes and I have given her another of my Pretty As A Peacock Pocketbook Albums as a prize.

This is the one for Kathryn’s party, you can see the inside pages two posts before this one.   So, there are two chances for you to try to win one of my albums.  Good Luck everyone.  Have a great week and go GIANTS!  Hugz, Z

Try It On Tuesday Challenge

tiot1 copy

I am trying out for the design team at Try It On Tuesday. This week the challenge is using a slide card, the theme is “in the mail”. I didn’t have a slide card so, I came up with my version.

I took Tim’s packaging for his tiny stapler and created this all occasion card.

I created a shaker box from the packaging and added some tiny gold butterflies and beads. I inked all around with a gold dabber and used a recollections butterfly.

Don’t forget to stop back tomorrow for my “Pretty As A Peacock Pocketbook Mini Album” that I will be giving away. Hugz, Z

DCWV~Royal Garden “Pretty As A Peacock Pocketbook Albums

I got this paper pad at Joann Fabrics and wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do with it?  I have made 6 of my pocketbook albums at the Flanders Crop this weekend which I have gone to the past 3 years.  First, I want to show you the Dusty Attic peacock feathers that I painted and then added stickles, too.

The paper pack came with jade green, hot pink, royal blue, gold and white shades.  I did the hot pink for Lois at the scrap beach for a mini swap.  I hope she loves peacocks…lol

I hope you like it Lois!  Now the pack comes with a white peacock, it looks kind of creepy, but I think it is my favorite, haven’t quite finished it yet:

I’m going to paint one of the Dusty Attic peacock feathers white and add to this page.  I think I will put Gabby’s communion pictures in here.  Now, at the end of the week I will be posting a giveaway for Kathryn from Life on the Scrap Beach for her “Scrappy Bowl Party” which will take place on Super bowl Sunday and the other I am going to do a giveaway on my blog for reaching over 2oo followers.  So, bless that I have that many people who like to see what I do!  It’s amazing.  So look for that post on Friday.  My other favorite is the gold one:

I know this is a long post so I will show you the other 3 on Friday where I will post the giveaways.  Just a sneak peak of the others:

Each pocketbook comes with a  peacock charm and crystals.

So, be sure to check on Friday to see which TWO I will be giving away.  I have to give a shout out to my girls!

Diana, Debbie and June, I had a great time and miss you girls already!  Can’t wait until next year!   Have a great week.  Hugz, Z
