Melissa Frances~Creative Keepsake Expo

I went to the Creative Keepsake Expo in Valley Forge and took this class with Melissa Frances, “Terrific Techniques”:

I always wanted to learn how to do these crepe roses and then added white mica flakes.

It was a great class and Melissa was so nice.  I can’t believe she was teaching because she had just had surgery.  Here is another class I took “Mixed Media” working with chipboard, acrylic and canvas.

I love using glue arts tape runner and they have come out with two new ones.  Tape specifically, for fabric and one called “extreme tac” which we used in the class.  It works fabulous on acrylic, chipboard, canvas and grunge.  Loved it.  Even Holly loved it…lol

Have a great week.  Hugz, Z

Baby Buggy Album~Magic of Oz Album

I thought I would give you some sneak peek’s of my upcoming classes.  First, is a Baby Buggy mini using Fancy Pants new line Baby Mine:

This is the small mini inside.  I’m also, doing a layout class with this collection:

The other class I will be teaching is a 2 part series using the Graphic 45 Magic of Oz, totally, inspired by Kathryn from Life on the Scrap Beach.  It is a take on her circus album.

Not really happy with the front?  I think I will be taking off the small title and adding a glitter one instead?  A few sneak peeks:

I’ll share the completed book when my class is over.  Have a great week.  Hugz, Z

Watermelon Mini Album

I have been so busy since I have been back I don’t know which way I’m going….LOL  Here is a mini I did before I left for vacation:

IMG_0003IMG_0004IMG_0005IMG_0006IMG_0007IMG_0008IMG_0009IMG_0010I used a scratch and sniff technique in this book.  You use equal parts of utee and kool aid to make the scratch and sniff.  Ginger or coffee would be great for Christmas.  Have a great weekend.  Hugz, Z

Bo Bunny Barefoot and Bliss Collection

Back from Turks and Caicos, soooo beautiful.  I took this picture and it looks just like a post card:

Here is a 8 x 8 album I created for the girls:

They are known for their Konch and their national bird is the flamingo.  The girls stamped the canvas and added the flamingo, shell and fibers.

This is Sally the Konch and there was a Jerry, too.

You know how I love playing with my cannon black and white feature:

Hope you like seeing the mini album as much as I did creating it.  Yeah, finally, got pictures of Gabby.  Have a great week.  Hugz, Z
