Welcome to "Where Bloggers Create Party!"

Welcome to My Creative Escape! I'll try not to make this too long as I know we have a lot of parties to go to today!
This is where I do my sewing. I Love my "Heart shaped chair"! I found this at a flea market more than 20 years ago. I wanted 3 others to match but have never seen another one like it? I love my "Pink" sewing machine, too!
Now you know I'm obsessed with Prima flowers! I love my new acrylic file drawers I recently acquired.
I just painted my daughter's old video stand and replace the video's with my cricut cartridges.
And this is where "Scraps to Beauty" actually happen. My dinning room table. It's ashame you can't see the stain glass in the window. There are two swan's in a pond. You'll notice on the left side is my Vera Bradley Bags which I use to carry my scrapbooking stuff for class and crops. I always get a lot of compliments on them and I have to thank my friend Geralyn for getting me hooked on them! lol I'm trying to put my crafting supplies in things that have handles so I can easily move them for a quicker clean up. (we'll see how long that last!) chuckle, chuckle.
Here are a few books which I get inspiration from and can't forget the M & M's. Those of you who take my classes~do you know what this is holding my stickles? It is a vintage lipstick holder. I love glitter (kinda reminds me of pixie dust) lol I love glitter on everything!
Here are a few of the things I have created here. Clear acrylic album, mini basic grey "Wisteria" album, a mini chipboard summer album and a pumpkin pocketbook album. As well as my first love Tear Bear & Critters.
So I hope this wasn't too long and leave you with these words from my fairy named "Mist":

I just notice I don't have an inspiration board? hmmm, that is something I'm going to have to add. Until next year~thanks Karen for hosting a great party. This was fun and helped me to get better organized! (for a little while, maybe) LOL Thanks for stopping bye! Off to visit you, now.
Hugz, Z

  4. You have a lovely space! I was trying to see that window more clearly, and it sounds beautiful. What would we women do if we couldn't create? Go crazy, I imagine! It is our outlet, our respite, our home inside our head and our house.

And you are new to blogging. HA! Now you're hooked like the rest of us!
I love that you named it your creative escape. I might borrow that one from you! I've been trying to think of a new name for my room, cause it is just so much more than scrapbooking. And studio sounds so professional to me. I'm just having fun! "escaping" perfect! Now see, I was so bummed that I hadn't come up with anything before this post cause I wanted to make a new sign. Now I know why! YAY!
LOVE the sewing machine. The chair is wonderful. A fun happy place.
