Let It Snow~Cookie Swap Party!

Here's what we woke up to this morning at the Jersey Shore, 23 inches!

Welcome to another year of our Cookie Swap Party.

I bought out my tables, and yes, I painted these some years ago.

Here is my invitation this year for my Cookie Swap party.

These are the invitations for 2007 and 2008.

Ready for some Holiday Cheer!

Getting the food ready. Love these red and green nachos.

I just had to include another photo of my upside Christmas tree. You can go to my post "Doors of Welcome" to get a closer look.

I always give everyone who attends an ornament with their name and the kind of cookies they baked.
Love my penguin.
My cute little elf in the bowl.

Finally, finished decorating. lol

Here is a sneak peek of my stained glass window. My family snow people.

Here is the table with every one's awesome cookies.

Here I will take you around the table to see all the yummy goodies.

Here are all the ingredients for the my favorite drink chocolate martini.

I coat the glass rim with chocolate sugar, then we squirt the Hershey's chocolate syrup around the glass and unwrapped the chocolate kiss to the bottom of the glass.

This is our Kris Kringle where we exchange gifts.
Geralyn on the left and Patti (some of you know her from Ranger) on the right.

Cindy our Beauty Control Rep. and Liz with my favorite penguin sweater.

Me, I got this ornament from Tinsel Trading in NYC. Thanks, Peggy!

June with her snowflake necklace.

Here is Patti taking a picture of me taking a picture of her. LOL We are all taking pictures, and of each other.
Raelene, this is her last swap with us, we'll miss you!

June and Ellen, taking a picture of me taking a picture of them.

Raelene, taking a picture of me taking a picture of her. (I know you had to be there).
She also took our group picture.

Thank girls for a fabulous time and such yummy cookies. See you next year!

Gingerbread Album

I haven't had the time to create anything this month~I just can't believe how fast the time is going! So, I thought I would share something I made last year at this time.

The top of the cookie jar pulls out for hidden journaling and the circle is an accordion pull out.

This is and EK Success album and the cute little mouse at the end is behind a spool of thread where the wire is strung with popcorn and cranberries. They actually move and become interactive in the album.

This is the back of the album. Behind the present is a pull out tag and gingerbread recipe.

Hope your taking some time for yourself this Holiday season and thanks so much for visiting me in this busy season. Have a great weekend.

Doors of Welcome~Merry Christmas!

The last of the mini series hosted by Karen from Some Days are Diamonds.
Imagine that I have the snow effect on. Of course, I couldn't figure out how to put it on the blog! LOL

WELCOME!

I live by the Jersey Shore, so I decorate with a Seashore theme. Aren't these Snowman lighthouse so cute.

This is the dinning room banner up the stairs, we'll come back to this room. Follow me. I don't have Zelda to help me out this time. ;o)

My Santa's. I still have other things to put out but, hopefully I will finsh up this week. LOL

Here is my seashore tree lit at night. Over 1,100 lights on this real tree! lol

The tree topper is my Santa riding his Seahorses into town.

Now, you see it in day time.

Closer look at these adorable seahorses and Santa.

Some of my ornaments.

Care for a shrimp cocktail? lol

Isn't this cute sea turtle so darling! Love her eyelashes.

My angel fish.

I love these jelly fish, too.

Holiday season, don't let it get you crabby.

Now, welcome to the kitchen. I have to say I have not completely finish decorating.... I need another 3 days! But, I have shared what I can.

What.... UPSIDE DOWN CHRISTMAS TREE????? What...

Last year after the holiday season I purchased my "Upside down Christmas Tree". When I first saw this tree I feel in love with it. We are heading back to the dinning room. This is my more playful take on Christmas.

It really allows the ornaments to take center stage. It took me a white to figure out how to decorate it. But, I think it turned out great.

I love all my ornaments with the martini glasses. Christmas time is the only I have my favorite drink~chocolate martini.

Well, I will dance my way over to visit you now. Hope, you enjoyed the tour and Thanks, Karen for another great party!

May you enjoy this Holiday Season sharing with family and friends. Wishing you all that you wish for and a Happy New Year!
